Portal comparisons

Most "best cashback portal" lists rank the same way: whoever pays the most today wins. The trouble is that the leader changes constantly, so a list like that is out of date by the time you read it.

The posts in this topic ask a steadier question. Not which shopping portal (a site that pays you for starting your purchase there) was highest last Tuesday, but how two portals differ in the ways that stay true for months: how much of the store commission each one shares, how long it holds your money before you can take it out, how it pays you out, what it excludes, and how often it moves its rates at all.

So you will find head-to-head pieces here, portal against portal, along with the wider comparisons: cashback against airline miles, points portals against cash portals, and the smaller portals most lists skip entirely.

None of this replaces checking the rate on the day. A comparison tells you which portals are worth holding an account with, which is close to a once-a-year decision. The store page tells you which one to click through this afternoon. Both are quick, and they are not the same job.
